For Corporations

Please put together the following information for year end before coming in to see the Accountant:

  • Backup copy of your data file on Quickbooks either on a flash drive or on a CD
  • Print out a hard copy of your trial balance as at your fiscal year end
  • Bring in a hard copy of your bank reconciliations and the bank statements and cheque stubs OR a preprepared bank reconciliation for all bank accounts related to the business
  • Accounts receivable listing indicating any doubtful accounts
  • Accounts Payable listing
  • Property and Equipment purchased or sold during the year
  • Details of all investments purchased or sold
  • New Equipment and Premises leases obtained during the fiscal year
  • Details of all business expenses paid with personal funds but not posted to the books
  • Shareholders advance to the business during the fiscal year
  • GST returns filed
  • Preprinted forms for the firm to complete the GST
  • Provide details of GST installments made during the fiscal year
  • Bank loans obtained during the year and bank loan balances as at the fiscal year end
  • Details of inventory on hand as at the fiscal year end
  • If you are a first time filer for a Corporation, you should bring in the companys minute book which includes incorporation documents
  • Corporation tax installments and payroll source deductions during the fiscal year
